At Renewal Mill, we are a women-led team on a mission to fight climate change through upcycled foods! We source our ingredients from places in the food system where nutrition is lost. Utilizing byproducts of plant-based milk, Renewal Mill has created a line of gluten-free flours that are high in fiber and protein. We believe that doing good should be, well, pretty darn delicious.

Upcycled foods reduce waste and can help stop climate change. Claire Schlemme first came face-to-face with food waste when she founded Boston's first organic juice company. At the end of each day, she was left with a mountain of nutritious produce pulp and no good solution for what to use it for. When she learned that other food makers were having similar “pulp” byproduct problems, but at a much larger scale, the lightbulb went off!
Claire joined forces with her co-founder Caroline and set out on mission to revolutionize the food system by ensuring that 100% of the food we produce is put to its best & highest use — feeding people. By using upcycled ingredients in our products, Renewal Mill is helping to prevent global warming by reducing food waste which contributes to human-caused greenhouse gas emissions.
All of our products are 100% vegan, high in fiber, and gluten-free.
By improving the efficiency of our food manufacturing system, Renewal Mill is making certain that the next-generation of eaters have a healthy planet and a sustainable future. We believe that upcycling is about respect: respect for all the resources that go into growing and producing our food, and the people who do it.
