About Ethiopian Delights
Beza Bisrat is an MBA student at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, and the founder of Ethiopian Delights. As an Ethiopian American, she felt disconnected from her culture when her career took her away from her home in Washington D.C..
She found solace in cooking. By making the recipes that her family passed down to her, she felt more in tune to her heritage.
She met others who felt the same way, and was inspired to solve the problem through Ethiopian Delights. By providing convenient and authentic packaged food, Ethiopian culture could become more accessible and visible.
